I understand I am an Independent Representative of Tara's Candle Cottage and in no way classified as an employee. Furthermore, I understand that becoming a distributor is in no way a guaranteed income or salary. I understand that this agreement can be terminated at any time, by either party, for any reason.

I understand I am responsible for all income taxes on my commissions in my state according to the Department of Revenue. I also understand it is MY RESPONSIBILITY to obtain my business license and retail tax license from the proper authority. I also understand I am responsible for reporting any income from Tara's Candle Cottage to the state and IRS. I understand Tara's Candle Cottage is in no way responsible if I do not file the appropriate taxes.

I will not misrepresent Tara's Candle Cottage in any way. Any misrepresentation is subject to immediate termination. Inactivity due to ordering below minimum for the quarter will result in a $25.00 re-activation fee, I agree to pay this fee to become active again.

I understand that I will receive a letter of termination if I have not met my 1st order within my first month or my minimum order requirement for a quarter (three months). I understand that I will need to pay a reactivation fee of $25 BEFORE I can become active again and be able to place another order.

I agree to the shipping and refund policies stated on Tara's Candle Cottage's site.

I do hereby agree and warrant that I and my family will not create, help others create, own, manage, sell any competing products similar to, or receive revenue from any business and type and/or kind of company similar to Tara's Candle Cottage during the duration of this agreement and for a period of two (2) years after the termination of this agreement. (if you are a candle store please email the owner for waiver of this part of the agreement)
